Bio

Funeral services for Mrs. Rudolph (Julia) Peters, 97, were held at 10 am Thursday in St. John's Catholic Church in Taiton with Monsignor J.A. Petru officiating. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery under the direction of Triska Funeral Home. A rosary was recited at 9:30 am Thursday in the church. Mrs. Peters, a longtime resident of this area, died Tuesday, June 19, 1984, at El Campo Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born in Dubina on Nov. 6, 1886, the daughter of the late Frank and Apolena Bilek Peters. She is survived by a son, Willie Peters of El Campo.
