FREDA HUNTLEY ""Mrs. Freda Bartlett Huntley, 417 Jefferson street, died Tuesday morning at the Swedish-American hospital, a few days after the death of her infant son, William Huntley, who was born there Jan. 21. She is survived by two sons, Clayton, 4 years old, and Harwill, 2 years old, her father, William Bartlett, 418 Kishwaukee street, and three brothers, Walter F. Bartlett, Rockford, Jesse M. Bartlett, Delavan, Wis., and Frederick C. Bartlett, Oakland, Cal. She was born in Delavan March 16, 1900 [see notes below]. She attended Trinity Lutheran church. Funeral services will be held at a time yet to be fixed at the home of Mrs. M. L. Fuller, 417 Jefferson street, the Rev. O. G. Beckstrand officiating. Burial will be at Delavan."" Notes - A birth record for "Freda Dorothea Bartlett" born 16 March 1900 is found in Winnebago County, Illinois records. No newspaper birth announcement has been found, but one for her brother was found in Rockford newspapers in 1897. "Dorothy" was listed in the 1900 census of Rockford with her parents, born March 1900 in Illinois, age 2 months. She was again listed as born in Illinois in the 1910 census.
