Bio

Lottie D Smith, 93, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1993 after a brief illness at Bone & Joint Hospital. Lottie was born May 16, 1900 in Yukon, Ok. to John and Francis Divis. She grew up in Yukon and graduated from Yukon High School. She married Roy L. Smith June 4, 1933 in Norman, Ok. and that marriage lasted 54 years until his death on May 10, 1987. They were blessed with a daughter, Patsy Morphew. Lottie and Ray spent so many happy years together and were able to remain active in many organizations. One of their favorite being the Saturday night dances at the Czech Hall in Yukon. Lottie was a member of Linwood United Methodist Church, WFLA Lodge 67, SOKOL Lodge and Westwood Chapter Eastern Star. She spent her life as a homemaker and devoted mother. Lottie was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; three sisters; and her beloved husband, Roy. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Morphew and husband, John of OKC; her grandchildren, Lorie Murry and her husband, Ken of Edmond, Cindy Liston and her husband, Lanny of OKC; and four great grandchildren, Kyle and Casey Liston, Tyler and Ryan Murry. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, Nov. 12, 1993 at Guardian Midtown Funeral Home with Rev. Toxie Miller officiating and burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
