US Postal Service, retired after 50 years service The Oklahoman, Oklahoma City, May 11, 1987, pg 17: Roy L. Smith, age 85, died Sunday in a local hospital. He was a 32d degree Mason and a member of Linwood Methodist Church. Mr Smith had retired from the postal service where he had been employed for 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Lottie; a daughter, Mrs Patsy Morphew of OKC; two granddaughters, Lori Murry and Cindy Liston; and two great grandsons, Kyle Liston and Tyler Matthew Murry. Services will be 10 am Tuesday in the Guardian Midtown Chapel with burial in Rose Hill.
