s/o Dominik Hoyak and Annie Holubec From the Bryan (TX) Daily Eagle , Thursday, April 13, 1967, p. 5: Funeral services for Jodie William Hoyak, 57, of 2200 Cavitt Avenue, who died Wednesday at his home, will be held at 4 p.m. Friday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Richard Thomas of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial of the Caldwell native will take place in the College Station Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Steffie Hoyak of Bryan; one son, Jodie G. Hoyak of Bryan; two brothers, Henry Hoyak of Bryan and John Simek of Bryan; and four sisters, Mrs. Frankie Krenek and Albena Zak, both of Bryan, Mrs. Alice Corley of Burlington, Iowa, and Mrs. Annie Baklik of Houston. Frank Ried, W. N. (Flop) Colson, Jack Sandifer, Hogo Krenek, George Carter, Carl Beaumont, Mike Kohlman, and Herbert Beach will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be L. C. Thompson, S. M. Meeks, A. B. Cannon, Robert Marek, Joe Krenk, Bill Lucas, Dr. W. C. House, and Dr. R. M. Searcy.
