From the Bryan (TX) Daily Eagle , Wednesday, February 3, 1971, p. 8: Funeral services for Mrs. Morgan (Mary) Smith, 72, of Crestview, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Memorial Funeral Chapel. She died Tuesday in a local nursing home. Mrs. Smith formerly lived at Rt. 3 in Bryan. The Rev. James Brannen of the A&M Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the College Station Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. She was born in February 2, 1899 and was a lifetime resident of Brazos County. Survivors include one brother, Leon W. Stasney of Temple. Pallbearers will be John J. Stasney, John G. Simek, W. A. (Bill) Stasney, Robert Boriskie, Leon Boriskie, and Hawley West.
