Hillsboro Mirror Wednesday, August 31, 1910 C.M. Bennett After an illness of about a week C.M. Bennett died Sunday the 21st inst. at the residence of his son and daughter, J.J. Bennett and Mrs. Willie Pitts of Aquilla, with whom he made his home. Deceased was a native of Mississippi and bout 64 years of age. He had resided in Hill County for about 23 years. His wife died several years ago, but five children servive him, they being J.J. Bennett and Mrs. Willie Pitts of Aquilla, Olf Bennett and Mrs. Griffith of Whitney, and Mrs. Cantrell of Vaughan. The funeral service was held on the day following on which his death occurred, being conducted by Rev. J.M. Tanner. The interment was made in the Vaughan Cemetery.
