Bio

The Paris News June 1973 Bogata - Welch Rogers, 75-year-old Bogata Resident, died at 4:45 a.m. Friday in Red River Haven Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church here where he was a member. The Rev. Dickie Golden will officiate and burial will be made in Bogata Cemetery by Bogata Funeral Home. Mr Roges was born May 14, 1898 in Franklin County, a son of Charlie and Stella (Welch) Rogers. He is survived by one brother Dr. Jack Rogers of Odessa.
