YOAKUM - Aliene Vinklarek, age 93, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016. She was born March 16, 1922 in Sweet Home to the late John and Iva Lea Donnelly Lee. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the St. Joseph Choir, Catholic Daughters and KJZT. She will be remembered for her dedicated service as the dietician at St. Joseph Catholic School for many years. Survivors are daughters, Iva Lynn Locke (Millard) of Giddings and Cheryl Shelton (David) 0f De Soto; sons, David Vinklarek (Virginia) of Shiner, Dennis Vinklarek (Sharon) of Yoakum and Daniel Vinklarek (Debra) of Yoakum; daughter-in-law, Bridget Vinklarek of Victoria; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Morrow of Yoakum; sister-in-law, Margaret (Peggy) Lee of Victoria. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Vinklarek; son, Darryl Vinklarek; sister, Lois Miller; brothers Dick Lee and Lloyd Lee. Rosary 7 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Thiele Cooper Funeral Home. Funeral Mass 11 a.m., Thursday, January 14, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Huehlefeld officiating. Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. Joseph Catholic School. Arrangements by Thiele Cooper Funeral Home Victoria Advocate, Wednesday, January 13, 2016
