He was the son of Alfred George Washington Shelly and Lucy Ann Ward. He married Lucia Evelyn Weaver February 16, 1914. ∼ Son of Alfred Washington Shelley and Lucy Ann Ward. Lucy Ann, daughter of Thomas Carroll Ward and Mary Annie Hicks Ward. Thomas Carroll Ward son of James Ward Sr. and Lucy Haney Ward.
