Bio

George William Edmonds, a shoe repairman, had lived in Wichita Falls 35 years prior to his death. His mother was Jessie Sorrow, who died Oct. 8, 1907 in Quanah, Texas (place of burial unknown.) George was a member of Northside Baptist Church and Panhandle Lodge No. 341, IOOF, and was a veteran of World War I. Services were held from Northside Baptist Church; burial in Crestview Memorial Park under direction of Owens-Brumley Funeral Home. His obituary was published in the Wichita Falls Times, Thurs., Mar. 23, 1967.
