Izorah Crouch was born in Dover, Kent County, Delaware, November 24(27), 1867. She moved with her parents to Schuyler, Nebr., where she was united in marriage to S. G. Channer on December 26, 1889, afterwards moving to Dawson county, Nebr., where they resided for twelve years, and then moved to Primrose, their present home, in 1910. To this union were born two sons, James Reno and Charles Roy (Ray), who, with their father and uncle, A. D. Crouch, are still living to mourn their loss, besides a host of friends and neighbors who held her in high esteem. At an early age she joined the church, where she was a useful and active worker until sickness kept her confined closely to her home, which was the case for several years prior to her death. But through all her suffering she was always cheerful and praising God for His blessings, ever looking on the bright side of life. On September 1st, 1922, the Augel of Death came to her at the hospital in Columbus where she had been taken for treatment, and released her spirit to meet her Heavenly Father. The body was brought here from Columbus Friday evening and the funeral services were conducted by Rev. Carne at the Methodist church at 10 o'clock last Sunday morning. Interment was made in the Dublin cemetery. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the entire community. Original obituary found in an old Bible.
