His father was Lewis G Stillwell 1825 Georgia - 1855 Freestone Co, Texas in unmarked grave. His mother was Lucretia C. Rocha [Texas version: Roach). She remarried Josiah "Joe" Ivy / Ivey and is buried under the Ivy name. John A. Stillwell and his first wife had four children. Two of them were Captain K. and Virginia Lee (Stillwell) Lott.
