Obit from Lufkin Daily News, Sept. 19, 1919 S. D. Scarbrough, proprietor of Scarbrough Drug in this city died last night. He was born and raised in this county...was 35 or 40 years old. Nearest relatives are Mrs. Bloke of Houston; two sisters Medames Yeates and Heath of Beaumont; another sister, Miss Lelia Scarbrough of this city; a sister by the name of Brashear of Jacksonville; a sister in Lufkin, Mrs. C. D. Boykin; a brother here, W. M. Scarbrough. Buried in the Huntington Cemetery with J. Y. Fincher conducting the services.
