Euwana Elizabeth Snow McElroy, age 93, of Maud, Texas, died Thursday, July 10, 2014 at her residence. Mr. McElroy was born October 6, 1920 in Ferris, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church, Maud, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton McElroy and a son Robert Aaron McElroy. She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law: Charles R. and Donna McKinney of Whitney, Texas, Tony and Karen McElroy of Maud, Texas; two sisters: Jackie Burks of Duncanville, Texas, Zonnie Griffin of Winnsboro, Texas; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the First Baptist Church, Maud, Texas with Rev. Frank Sizemore and Rev. Chuck Carr officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M.
