Bio

John B. Edwards, 81, longtime Idaho Falls resident, died Saturday at an Idaho Falls hospital. He was born January 30, 1896 in Carey, son of John B. and Sarah Evans Edwards. He received his early education in Carey. He worked as a plasterer and later with explosives. In 1919, he married Caroline Mary [Shirley] Conklin in Blackfoot. Survivors include his widow; sister, Mrs. Ellen Staley, and a brother, Edward Edwards, both of Idaho Falls. Services will be at the Williams Funeral Chapel at 3:00 pm Tuesday. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 8:30 pm at the funeral home and Tuesday one hour prior to services. Burial will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
