Leona May Nickels, age 85, went home with her angels on 8-11-2002, with several family members at her side.Leona was raised in the Inland Empire her entire life.She married Ben Nickels & celebrated their 50th annivesary on 6-27-86, at a large gathering of family & friends. She worked at the Pomona fair, in the Red Clock Tower for lost kids. She was an advid bowler, & bowled with her daughters on leagues. Leona could make you smile and laugh, even when you didnt want to. She also loved to play the card game Tripoly, inwhich she made up her own version.She leaves behind 3 daughters Barbara Ekstrand, Marilyn Ballinger & Patty Bare Miller.8 grandkids Debbie Gilb, Brenda Ekstrand-Rauch, Linda Rhoades, Brian Ekstrand, DiAnna Tefft, Suzan Dunow, Athena Reutgen-Hughes & Jim Reutgen. Greatgrankids: Nicole Ekstrand-Boza, Melissa Ekstrand, Ariel & Hunter Rhoades, Wesley& Riley Dunow, Hannah Gilb, Jamie & Jared Tefft, Decoda,Allura & Lathan Hughes, Jonathan Reutgen. One Great Great Grand daughter Melee-Anne Boza. Grandma Thankyou for the years of Laughter & Love....save us a spot in heaven
