Harper News by Miss Marie Cottle , Reporter and Collector LEE COTTLE Friends and relatives of Lee Cottle were greatly pained to learn of his death which occurred Tuesday morning, March 2, in the Keidel Sanitarium in Fredericksburg. He had undergone a very serious operation there a few days prior to his death. Mr. Cottle had spent most of his life in and around Bastrop county where he was engaged in buying and selling livestock but for the past two years he had made Harper his home. In his early manhood he married Miss Sally Davis who was also a resident of Bastrop county. To their union were born seven children, two girls and five boys, all of whom are still living. He had attained the age of 73 years. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at McDade and interment was made in the cemetery there. ——o——
