CYRUS COLVIN DIES OF HEART AILMENT Cyrus Colvin, a laborer, died at 10:15 o'clock Saturday night at his home, 509 South Twenty-sixth street, after an. illness of five months. Death was due to a heart aliment. Mr. Colvin was 73 years old. The funeral probably will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Mitchell funeral home. Burial will be in Dodge Grove Cemetery. Mr. Colvln was born June 11, 1868, at Calhoun, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Colvln. He was twice married, and his first wife with whom he resided in Richland county died. On Feb. 15. 1905, he married Mrs. Mary McCloy of Effingham and a month later they moved to Mattoon. Mr. Colvin worked as a laborer. Surviving besides his wife are three sons, James O. of Houston, Tex., V. L. of Kansas City, Mo., and Peter of East Alton; a stepson, Earl McCloy of Decatur; a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Humbagh of Vincennes. Ind.; a half-brother, T. E. Gillespie of Olney; a stepsister, Mrs. Maude Burns of St. Louis, and 11 grandchildren.
