Bio

Jeptha Watson died in Buchanan co., Mo. at the home of his son, Elijah Watson, before 1850. He was the son of Eleazer Watson & Sarah Fyffe and grandson of James Charles Dent Watson & Mary Jane Greene of St Mary county, Maryland. Eli is the son of Jeptha's first unknown wife and the remaining children are offspring of Jeptha's second wife, Mrs Mary Lawrence (her second marriage), who's maiden name is unknown at this time. Jeptha is also the step-father of Margaret Ann "Peggy" Lawrence who married Thomas Newman (FAG #126638871) in 1831. Siblings: Samuel C. Watson
