Whitney Messenger Friday, February 2, 1983 Jesse Leon Camp Mr. Jesse Leon Camp, 2001 Mosswood Ct. Arlington, died in Arlington Memorial Hospital Saturday, Aug. 27. Memorial services were conducted Monday, Aug. 29, in Arlington by Dr. H.E. East ans the Rev. Bob Parrish. Mr. Camp was born near Whitney on Nov. 26, 1913. He was the son of the late W.L. and Annie Williams Camp. He served in the Armed Forces during World War II. Formerly he lived in McGregor while employed at Rockerdyne. At the time of his death Mr. Camp was a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church and retired employee of Surgico. Survivors include his wife Margie; four brothers; H.M. and A.D. Camp of Whitney, L.D. Camp of Bay Minette, Alabama, and B.I. Camp of Fort Worth. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Rehobeth Baptist Church or a favorite charity.
