Bio

Lila Leah was married at age 17 in Collin County, TX (1918) to Erma Lake Burke (1896-1923). They had one daughter before divorcing and Erma Lake lived the last two years of his life at the Kerrville, Kerr Co., Tuberculosis Hospital before his death in 1923. His death certificate indicates removal and burial in San Antonio although no record was found for this entry. Lila then married a widower, Killough King Smith and they lived in Fort Worth, TX until her death in 1946 from breast cancer.
