Roche, 59, of Paris, was killed almost instantly here Monday night shortly after 6:00 p.m. when he lost control of the car he was driving and crashed into a telephone pole on the southeast corner of the Square. He was returning from Bonham to Paris. He had been a resident of Paris for a number of years. He owned several farms and other porperty in Lamar and Fannin counties and took great interest in politics. He is survived by his wife, Texia; son, Warren Roche; 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
