Many thanks to FAG contributor Kathy Monical (#49101662) for the following obituary: Albert B. Olston was born at Terre Haute, Ind., He was united in marriage with Miss Kate Bedford, (a native of Nebraska) at Terre Haute, Ind., in January 1895. This union was blessed with 5 children, four of whom survive their father. The family moved to the Seward County, Nebr. farm in 1926, where the departed has been in failing health for some time. He was called to rest very suddenly on Sept. 24 at the age of 84 years, 8 months and 29 days. He is survived by his widow and four children; Mrs. Beryl Jeffery and Mrs. Carol Behrens, of Wilbraham, Mass.; Mrs. Ruth Pressey, Albuquerque, N.M.; and Norman Olston at home. There are also seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The departed is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Anna Saule of Grand Junction, Colo. Funeral services were held at the Frieden's church in Goehner on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Brueggemann officiating. Mrs. Ernest Temple sang two songs, "Abide With M," and "Face to Face," accompanied by Mrs. Brueggemann at the organ. Burial was in the Goehner cemetery.
