W. H. Barnett, 79, of Houston, died in Houston Thursday after a brief illness. He was born February 23, 1878 in Etoile and resided in Houston 20 years. He was a former Trinity County resident. Funeral services will be in the Boulevard Funeral Chapel, Houston at 8:30 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Lunsford officiating. Graveside and interment services will be in the Blue Springs Cemetery, Etoile at 3:30 p.m. Survivors include .. - 3 sons: Ben B. Barnett, M. C. Barnett and C. E. Barnett - 7 daughters: Mrs. Lillian Sheffield, Mrs. Adalien Chessher, Mrs. Josie Johnson, Mrs. Fred Davis, Mrs. Charlsie Harrell and Mrs. Eunice Johnson - 2 sisters: Mrs. Mary Chessher and Mrs. Dee Stripling - 50 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren.
