Bio

Elizabeth was the 6th (5th girl) of Miles Beaman and Sara Parker Hightower. Her father would leave in her early childhood to return to Alabama and was never heard from again. Elizabeth married Warren Hillard Barnett 21 Jan 1860 in Nacogdoches Co., Texas. There were 2 daughters born before he left for service in the Civil War. Elizabeth and her husband would have 11 more children after his return; 7 daughters and 4 sons. Two of their sons and 1 daughter died at young ages.
