IN LOVING MEMORY On Double stone with Emilie & Anna MART HERALD JOE F. ADAMEK DIES AT ELK MONDAY MORNING January 17, 1961 Joe Frank Adamek,83, of Elk died Monday morning at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Littlepage Chapel at Mart, Rev. Earl Brandon officiating, with burial in Pavelka cemetery. Pallbearers include the grandsons of deceased. Mr. Adamek was born in Washington County. He had lived in the Elk community for 44 years. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Presbyterian church. Survivors are seven daughters, Mrs. Willie Pavelka of Abbott, Mrs. Ed Pavelka of Mart, Mrs. Adolph Beralek of Axtell, Mrs. Rudolph Vicha Jr. of Axtell, Mrs. Henry Young of Waco, Mrs. Willie Thun of Axtell, and Mrs. James Pavelka of Bellmead; two sons, Calvin Adamek of Mart and Woodrow Adamek of Waco; two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Kornek of Waco and Mrs. Sophia Dusek of Granger; 29 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Joseph Frank Adamek married Anna Dusek on November 22, 1898 in Washington County, Texas. Anna died on November 2, 1907. Joseph Frank Adamek next married Anna's sister, Emily Dusek on December 3, 1908 in Washington County, Texas.
