CHARLES RODEBACK DIES AT AGE OF 96 Coalville, June 4. Charles L. Rodeback, the oldest man in Summit county and the oldest man in the Mormon church died at Hoytsville and was buried yesterday afternoon. Deceased was 96 years of age, and the cause of his death was general debility. Mr. Rodeback was one of the early settlers of this county. He was a native of Pennsylvania. When a boy he moved to Nauvoo, Ill. He was a faithful member of the church up to the time of his death. Several children survive him. The funeral services were held yesterday afternoon from the Hoytsville ward meeting house, the speakers be Presidents Moses W. Taylor and George W. Young. Bishop William Sargent and Elder Alma Eldredge. He married Jane Morgan 18 Oct 1838 in Pennsylvania. Together they had the following children; Mary Ann, Lorenzo Barnes, Sarah Jane, Josephine Eleanor, Rebecca Helen, Frances Isabella, Charles Levant, and David Morgan Rodeback.
