Bio

Albert Regehr of New Hope died at North Memorial Hospital Hospice, Brooklyn Center, after a brief illness on April 28, 2011 Services were Monday, May 2, at Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie with Rev. Leith Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Carson Cemetery in Delft. Albert Regehr was born on Oct. 21, 1924, in Oklahoma. As an infant his family moved to Mt. Lake. In May 24, 1947, he married Olga Willems and they lived in Butterfield until 1970. At that time they moved to the Twin Cities where he worked for Werness Brothers Funeral Home for 20 years. He was a longtime member of Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his wife, Olga (Willems) Regehr; three daughters: Corlis (Sam) Hachey of Kenosha, Wis., Diane Regehr of Robbinsdale and Beverly Regehr of Mounds View; four granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.
