Obituary, The Oklahoman, October 7, 1994 Judy Scanlon, age 83, born October 4, 1911 in Kansas City, Kansas. Passed away October 5, 1994 at Southwest Medical Center, Oklahoma City. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for 32 years, lived in Oklahoma City almost 60 years and was a homemaker. She married on November 14, 1938. Preceded in death by her husband, Al Scanlon; daughter, Barbara Riggins; and son, John Mark. Survivors include 3 daughters and their spouses, Margaret and Tom Calaway, Mary and Tom Tuttle and Carol and Mark Lester; 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society, Oklahoma City. Evening Prayer Service 7:30 p.m. Friday at Smith and Kernke Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 11:00 a.m. Saturday. Interment, Rose Hill Burial Park.
