"Jimmy" James William Ivy, age 70, of Alba, Texas, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011, at his home. He was born July 11, 1940 in Fairfield, Texas to James Edelle Ivy and Mollie Bell Burnham Ivy. Jimmy married Teresa on June 11, 1994 in Aurora, Colorado. He is survived by his wife, Teresa; children, James Lee Ivy, Mollyn Shew, Tara Arredondo and husband, Cruz and Kelly Lowe, Jr. and wife, Staci; grandchildren, Candace Roe, Chelsea Shew, Jessica Ann Ivy, Audrey Lowe and Reagan Lowe; great grandchild; Jaylen Lawal; sisters, Ruth Lyles, Lena Scott, Tina Gordon and Tammie Bates; brothers, Howard Ivy and Lucky Ivy and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Jimmy was preceded in death by one brother, Joel Ivy. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Interment will follow at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
