Bio

Mathias (Michael) was born February 2, 1841 in #62 Budkov, South Moravia, son of Anton DANHEL & Katerina Smrcka. On jun 9, 1862 he married Anna Nekula. Four children were born to this union: Simon (1861-1906), Anna (1863-1872), Josefa (1866-1927), and Anton (1868-1869). All children were born in Budkov and wife Anna died there on December 25, 1871. On Jun 4, 1872, in Horni Vranin, Moravia, he married a second time to Antonia Kuba. Eight children were born to this union (two were born in Budkov. On May 8, 1875, the family arrived in Baltimore, Maryland on the ship Leipzig . Their port of departure was Bremen, Germany. **All Czech records/research done by Jennifer Styskal Faust Cemetery Records show he was 48 years old
