Born in Bohemia. According to 1900 US Census, immigration 1875. Friday, January 7, 1927 Paper: Omaha World-Herald (Omaha, Nebraska) Page: 4 Mrs. Josephine Adam , 57, died Thursday of pneumonia at a local hospital. She is survived by her husband, John; five sons, John, William, Joseph, Edward, and Emil; four daughters, Agnes, Margaret, Frances and Mrs. Alvin Peterson; one brother, John Daniel; four sisters, Miss Mary Daniel, Mrs. Frank Vojtech, Mrs. James Clifton; Mrs. Clark Johnson, and 12 grandchildren, all of Omaha. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the residence. Burial will be at Bohemian National cemetery. Born March 11, 1866 in #45 Budkov, South Moravia.
