(Also spelled Stoddard) Son of Samuel S. Stoddard, born 6 Feb 1814 in Laurens County, SC and Abigail C. Stoddard, born c1818. Cooper Review Friday, 17 October 1930 Aged Cooper Citizen Buried Last Monday The remains of Press B. Studdard, venerable Cooper citizen, who died Sunday night, was buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery Monday at 4 p.m. Active pallbearers were A.L. Dawson, Curtis Dawson, John Fletcher, Henry Sparks, Dan Jenkins, Ray McClain. Honorary: Joe Hooten, Jim Webb, J.C. Rhodes, Dave Pickens, N.P. McMillian, O.W. Simmons. Out of town people attending the funeral were: Mrs. H.C. Shaw, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Jerome Cowley, Gilmer; Mrs. Nettie Brewer, Dallas; Mrs. Grover Beal and children of Clarksville; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dale of Greenville; Mrs. Shackleford.
