April 29, 2011 - Wisconsin State Journal Walter W. Vidlock, age 88, of Lincoln, Neb., died Wednesday, April 27, 2011. He was a retired newspaper pressman, member First-Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ, Sesostris Shrine, U.S.S. Yorktown (CV-10) Association, Hiram Lodge No. 0050, Madison, Wis., Scottish Rite Valley of Madison, Wis., American Legion, and a U.S. Navy veteran. Survived by wife, Wilma; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Diane Vidlock of Cross Plains, Gary and Janice Vidlock of Oshkosh, and Robert and Debra Vidlock of Lincoln, Neb.; grandchildren, Kyle, Kari Vidlock, Connor, Madison Vidlock; and sister, Helen Johnson of Lincoln, Neb. Preceded by parents, Edward and Anna; sister, Marie; and brother, Edward. Services will be held Friday, April 29, 2011, 2 p.m. FIRST PLYMOUTH CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH, 2000 D St., Lincoln, Neb., with Barbara Smisek officiating. Burial will be in Wyuka Cemetery Friday at 1 p.m.
