Bio
Rebecca Jane Bailey was born in Chickasaw County, Mississippi. Rebecca Jane Bailey (#8794829) and William Beason Hardin married on January 15, 1868 in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. To this union were born 9 sons and 3 daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Hardin moved to Texas in 1873, stopping a year at Clarksville, Red River County. They moved to Denton County in 1873 and a year later went to Collin County near McKinney. In 1896 they moved to Cisco and from there to Snyder in 1907. William B. Hardin passed away in 1916 and is buried in the Snyder, Texas Cemetery. She was was a member of the Church of Christ, and a Civil War Veteran's wife.
