Buxton Services Are Held Today At Singer Church DERIDDER - Funeral services for Alex Buxton, 63, of Singer, were to be held at 2 p.m. today at the Singer Pentecostal church with Rev. Kenneth Morgan Officiating. Burial was to be in the Good Hope cemetery with the Ferris funeral home In charge. Mr. Buxton died at 2:53 p.m. Wednesday at the DeQuincy General hospital. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Mary Buxton of Singer; three sons, Leonard of Houston, Texas, and Winston and Earl, both of Singer; three daughters, Mrs. Glennie Clark of Singer. Mrs. Jessie Cook of Pasadena, Texas, and Mrs. A. C Buxton of Merryville; and 13 grandchildren.
