The Herald Democrat, April 24, 2011 : Garland, TX - Bobby Joe Lindsey, age 72, died April 21, 2011 at Baylor Hospital in Garland. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 26 at Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne. Burial will be at Van Alstyne Cemetery with Rev. Gary Gibbs officiating. Mr. Lindsey is survived by his wife, Susan Lindsey of Garland ; his daughter, Mary Ramiriez of Dallas ; his sons, Bobby Lindsey, Jr of Anna, Jessie Rios of Garland, James Lindsey of Grand Prairie ; sisters, Mary Tooley [should be Mary Tuley] of Van Alstyne [Westminster, TX] and Carolyn Lindsey [should be Carolyn Lindsey Duran] of Van Alstyne [Westminster, TX] ; seven grandchildren ; one great grandchild. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. April 25 at Flesher Funeral Home.
