George Washington Wright IV was the son of George Washington Wright III and Bessie Blondell Porter Suder Wright. He was born October 21, 1917 Orangeburg, Orangeburg Co., South Carolina. He came with his family to the Orlando area in 1923. He was the President of the Seven-UP Bottling Company in Orlando. On October 2, 1942 he enlisted as a private in the service of the United States Service in the State of Alabama, Brookley Field Mobile, Warrant Officers for the duration of the War. On his draft card he was shown as single, with 4 years of high school, and his civil occupation was as a manager. He was 5' 7" tall and his weight was 118 pounds. He died 1963 in Hong Kong while on a world tour to visit 17 orphan children scattered in all corners of the globe whom he had been supporting through various agencies for some years. His burial was at the Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, Orange Co., Florida in the A Garden, Lot 81, Space 2.
