Ruby Campsey QUANAH Ruby May Campsey, 80, died Wednesday, May 26, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Church of Christ, with Jack Westbrook officiating. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park by Price-Jackson Funeral. Mrs. Campsey was born in Whitesboro. She lived in Kirkland and Quanah most of her life. She was a retired clerk for M.E. Mosey Variety Store, where she worked for many years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She married John Curry Campsey in 1935 at Hardeman County. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984; a daughter, Peggy Joyce Melton, in 1973; and a son, J.C., in 1995. Survivors include a son, Jack of Quanah; a sister, Lorene Albritton of Vernon; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
