Jack was born on December 28, 1954, in Childress, Texas, to John and Ruby Collyer Campsey. He married Judy White on December 29, 1982, in Quanah, and together they raised two daughters, Jaclyn and Kayland. A lifelong educator, Jack earned a master's degree in education from Sul Ross University. He was passionate about vocational agriculture, serving on the Vocational Ag Teacher's Board for 14 years and contributing to his community as a member of the QISD School Board and Chairman of the Hardeman County Stock Show. Jack was also an avid gun collector and hunter. He was a devoted member of the Church of Christ and valued his faith and community deeply. Jack is survived by his wife, Judy Campsey of Quanah; his daughters, Jaclyn Campsey and Seth Castaneda of San Antonio, and Kayland Campsey of Quanah; and nieces and nephews, Janet Young and Rodney of Quanah, Cindy Campsey of Childress, and Mike Melton. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Peggy Melton; and his brother, JC Campsey. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Church of Christ or the Quanah Alumni Association. - Smith Funeral Home
