Bio
L.E. Ogle was abandoned by his father at birth and left motherless when a few months old. He was raised by his mother's sister, Ollie Joe Wood and her husband, Watt Bender. He was always known as "L.E. Bender". His obituary and his death certificate are filed with the name "Bender". His mangled body was found on the railroad tracks near Woodlawn. Why he was there and what occured has not been discovered.He was buried next to his biological mother.
