Bio

Mary was born in Moravia to Jacob and Magdalena Kolecek Gerla. She was 52 years, 8 months and 13 days old when she died of acute dilation of the heart and aortic stenosis in Weimar, Colorado County, Texas. She was in farming and a widow. She immigrated to America through New York on 17 November 1874 per the 1910 census. She married Henry/Jindrich Kossa in 1885.
