San Antonio Express, Jan. 24, 1972: Miss Bertha Ann Arnette, age 86, of 534 Fulton Ave., died Saturday at a local hospital. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors: Sisters, Mrs. J.A. Shelton, Mrs. Claude McKinney, both of San Antonio, Mrs. Bessie Shipp; brothers, H.F. Arnette, Lytle Arnette, all of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Mason Arnette (retired San Antonio police officer) San Antonio, several nieces and nephews. Miss Arnette will be sent to Murfreesboro, Tenn. Monday afternoon for service and interment. Arrangements with Porter Loring.
