S/o James "Jim" Bailey & Rebecca (Wiley) Bush Bailey Lake Charles American Press August 12, 1947 page 1 Funeral Services Held For Octogenarian DERIDDER, La., Aug. 12, - Funeral services were held for James M. Bailey, 82, at the Hopewell Baptist church last week. The Rev. T. S. Cooley conducted the services and burial was in the Hopewell Cemetery with the Hixson funeral home in charge. Mr. Bailey died Monday at his home near DeRidder. He is survived by his wife; six sons, Isaac Bailey, Lloyd Bailey, Abraham Bailey and J. C. Bailey of DeRidder and Hardy and Richard Bailey both of Rosepine; six daughters, Mrs. Leo Nash, Julie Bailey, Tibatha Bailey, Lucy Mae Bailey, Mary M. Bailey and Missouri Woodard, all of DeRidder; two brothers; 52 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
