Nellie Pearl Cooley, 88, of DeRidder, La, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Beauregard Memorial Hospital. Funeral service were Wednesday, January 15. She is preceded in death by her husband, Officer Jack Cooley, Sr.; parents, John Harold Akin & Ida Aderine Johnson; brother, John W. Akin; sister, Johnnie Florine Akin; and five infant siblings.
