El Don P Keetch, 81, of St. George/Lindon is happily united with his wife Colleen who died in 2003. He passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 after a courageous fight with cancer. He was born in Lindon, Utah, Dec. 28, 1929 to Stanley and Jennie Prestwich Keetch. He married Colleen Taylor, Feb. 16, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. After graduating from Pleasant Grove High School he obtained employment at Geneva Steel and worked there for 38 years. He also farmed in the Lindon area for most of his life. He was an active member of the LDS Church all his life. He is survived by his children, Craig of Montana; Bruce (Yvonne) of Orem; Jane (Wayne) Prestgard of American Fork; Diana (Brent) Neil of Lindon; 19 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; one brother, Morley B. Keetch; two sisters, Lula Brimhall and Myrl Jarvis. He is preceded in death by two daughters, Kathryn and Susan, one grandchild and three brothers, Wesley, Wendell and Duane. A viewing will be held Saturday April 16, 2011 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM in the Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove followed by a short service. Interment will follow immediately after the services at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
