Bio

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Schysm, 82, were at 2 p.m. today, September 16, in Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder. The Rev. Herbert Ingalls officiated. Burial was in Beauregard Cemetery. Mrs. Schysm died at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Beauregard Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Vernon Parish and a resident of Rosepine most of her life. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Lena Crain and Mrs. Lula Doyle, both of Rosepine, one son, Homer Perkins of Corpus Christi, one brother, Frank Ashworth of Rosepine, three sisters, Mrs. Belle Carroll of DeRidder, Mrs. Lillie Jones of Rosepine, and Mrs. Fronie Jordan of Woodville, Tex., 11 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren
