Obituary in The Shreveport (LA) Times January 12, 1971: DERIDDER - Funeral services for Henry Moses, 82, were held Monday in the Kemper Baptist Church with the Rev. E.W. Lowrimore, the Rev. C.S. Myers, the Rev. Emory Wallace, and the Rev. T.G. Hogan officiating. Burial was in the Hopewell Cemetery. Survivors include his widow [not named]; one son, Morris Moses of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Eva Lois Hart and Mrs. Evon Hoeting, both of DeRidder; one sister, Mrs. Inez Ford; one brother, Raleigh Moses of DeRidder; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
