Ledger Friday May 17, 1957 Pg. 8 Mrs. Earl DANA Funeral Monday Last rites for Mrs. Earl DANA, 64, will be held Monday at the Weston Behner Funeral home. The services will be held at 10:30 a.m. and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The Rev. B. Roy Brown of Ottumwa will officiate. Mrs. DANA passed away Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Ottumwa hospital where she had been a patient for the past six weeks. She had been in failing health the past two years. Mrs. Earl DANA was born June 23, 1892, in Fairfield, the daughter of the late Marvin and Minnie GLEASON HUMPHREYS. She was united in marriage to Earl E. DANA on Oct. 25, 1911, at Fairfield, and lived her entire life in this community until they moved to Ottumwa 15 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist church in Ottumwa. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy JOHNSON, Ottumwa; and two grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters and a brother: Mrs. Bernice DuBOIS and Mrs. Mabel PEQUIGNOT, both of Fairfield; Mrs. Elizabeth DAGGETT, Detroit; and Don HUMPHREYS, Fairfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son and a sister.
